Flowhub creates user-friendly business management and compliance products that increase revenue in the highly regulated cannabis industry.  Our Engineering department is highly creative, incredibly resourceful, and obsesses over the user experience.

As a senior member of the QA team, you will work closely with our product and development teams in an agile process. Our development cycle involves TDD, continuous integration and feature flag releases across many customer-facing products and services.  In the cannabis industry, rigorous testing is extremely important as our customers count on our software to stay profitable and compliant to complex regulations. Responsibilities:

  • Design comprehensive test plans for a variety of products in our software ecosystem
  • Write and maintain automated test suites to be used in CI pipelines
  • Work with engineering teams to capture test requirements throughout the development cycle.
  • Mentor and teach automation practices to junior members to elevate the team as a whole
  • Break stuff! Find issues and bugs before our customers do, collaborate with devs on solutions 
  • Be a thought leader and team-builder to forge our next-gen processes in testing

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software development and/or testing experience
  • Proficient in a modern development language, preferably Typescript
  • Experience with designing and developing full stack test automation
  • Experience and willingness to train and develop Jr. SDET team members
  • Experience establishing automation goals and leading a team towards success
  • Expert in constructing and maintaining automated testing frameworks
  • Expert in Quality Assurance testing techniques
  • Experience with designing and developing full stack test automation
  • Thorough understanding of testing best practices
