Create your dream dispensary in California

California is an established market with a discerning customer base. The challenge now is to remain profitable as the state increases taxes and regulations. California also has a powerful illegal market that currently outpaces legal sales, so some competitors won’t play fair.

Our dispensary POS software helps you stand out against the competition and streamline operations so you can excel at ecommerce, process online ordering, expand to curbside pickup, develop loyalty programs, improve inventory management, and grow profits — all with a keen eye on compliance.

Does Flowhub work with California’s delivery-only cannabis businesses?

Currently, our software isn’t a great fit for delivery-only businesses. We are actively working to build out a robust delivery function within our platform, and we’ll be sure to let you know when it’s ready. For now, our software solutions are best aligned to traditional brick-and-mortar retail dispensaries.

Can I easily add new dispensary locations to my Flowhub account?

Growing your business on Flowhub is simple. We built our cannabis retail management software with company level and location level views so dispensary owners and managers can easily manage and standardize products, Deals, employee permissions, custom reports, tax calculations, and more from a corporate level.

How do I calculate California marijuana tax at my dispensary?

California taxes are higher and more impactful than those of other states. And they are complicated. Here's a blog post just for California retail dispensaries to help you understand California taxes and see how to set them up correctly in Flowhub.

What are the California marijuana laws, regulations, and purchase limits?

The state regulatory agency in California is the Bureau of Cannabis Control (BCC). California’s track and trace system is Metrc. Recreational customers are allowed 1 ounce of cannabis per day, equivalent to 8 grams of concentrate and 6 immature plants. Medical patients can obtain up to 8 ounces of flower. Visit the California State site to find the most updated and in-depth regulatory information.

Does Flowhub work with un-licensed California marijuana dispensaries?

No. Our company mission is to make legal cannabis accessible to all people. Some cannabis POS systems work with non-licensed operations, but Flowhub strictly serves licensed cannabis businesses.
